Kine AI Privacy Policy

Kine AI is a private AI workstation companion for signed-in users. This policy explains what information Kine AI collects, how it is used, and how users can request access, correction, or deletion.

Information We Collect

• Account information, including name, email address, account identifiers, and device or app identifiers.
• User content, including messages, voice input, uploaded files, photos or videos, and support requests.
• Browsing or search context that a user asks Kine AI to process.
• Product interaction, crash, performance, and other diagnostic information used to operate and improve the service.
• Precise or approximate location only when a user enables location features. Kine AI does not request background location.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide app functionality, authenticate users, personalize the Kine AI experience, maintain user dashboards and workflows, respond to support requests, improve reliability, detect errors, and understand product usage.

AI Processing and Your Choice

Kine AI uses third-party AI and supporting service providers to answer requests and carry out tasks. To provide those features, Kine AI may process messages, voice input, files, photos or videos, and the account, browsing, search, location, or workflow context needed for the user's request. Processing may occur off the user's device.

On each fresh login, Kine AI presents a short AI and privacy notice. Accepting authorizes the processing described in this policy and continues into the app. Declining signs the user out of that current session. A persistent session that is already restored as signed in is not interrupted solely to repeat the login notice.

Kine AI does not sell this information or use it for advertising. AI processing is required for Kine AI's core service. A user can withdraw permission at any time from Settings > Privacy & control > AI processing. Withdrawal disables AI processing for the account until the user signs in and accepts again.

Sharing

Kine AI does not sell personal information. We share information only with third-party service providers needed to operate the app, including AI processing, authentication, hosting, analytics, messaging, and storage, or when required by law. These providers must protect personal information consistently with this policy, their service terms, and applicable law.

Tracking and Advertising

Kine AI does not use information to track users across other companies' apps or websites, does not use the advertising identifier, and does not sell personal information.

Retention and Deletion

We retain information while an account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Account deletion requests remove account-linked Kine AI data from active systems except where limited retention is legally required. Signed-in users can start deletion directly in the app from Settings > Account > Delete account. The app requires the user to type DELETE before the request is submitted. Users can separately withdraw AI processing permission without deleting their account as described above.

Voice recordings submitted for transcription may be stored temporarily while processing finishes or a recoverable delivery is retried, and are removed after completion or a short recovery period.

Security

Kine AI uses access controls, scoped account data, encrypted transport, and operational safeguards designed to protect user information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Kine AI is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
